FAUCETT - Heading into the fourth inning in the opening round the Class 2 District 7 Softball Tournament up 1-0, North Platte (21-8) erupted for 14 runs in the inning to earn a 15-0 mercy rule win over East Buchanan (0-18) on Oct. 12.
