The Park Hill South girls’ golf team finished eighth at the Class 4 State Tournament held Oct. 21-22 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, led by senior Makenna Casey, who finished sixth after being tied for first place after one round.
Casey shot a 74 on Day 1 but shot an 82 on Day 2 for a total of 156 to tie for sixth.
Park Hill’s Makenna Kincheloe finished tied for 14th with a total score of 163, while teammate Ruby Bell finished tied for 40th with a total score of 179.
South’s Brynlee Justice finished tied for 43rd with a total score of 182, followed by teammates Kylie Ziller, who finished with a total score of 207, and Brooke Nichols, who finished with a score of 220.
