The Suburban Conference announced changes to the divisions for the next two years and all three of the area teams will have some new or old foes to face.
In the largest division, the Gold, Park Hill will be joined now by Liberty and Liberty North.
Liberty and Park Hill traded spots four years ago in the realignment shuffle, while Liberty North moves up to the largest division for the first time.
The two schools had been placed in Class 6 football in the most recent cycle.
The two Liberty schools moved from the Red Division, where Park Hill South will remain for the next two years. North Kansas City and Oak Park moves into the Red Division, while Truman will drop down to the White Division.
In the smallest division, Blue, Platte County will lose Grain Valley after two years for one of the conference’s newest additions. With Grain Valley moving up, Ruskin returns after two years in the White.
