The last Platte City summer music concert of 2021 will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday evening, Aug. 14 on the courthouse lawn, Main Street, downtown Platte City.
Cherry Bomb, known for their “dancin-rockin-groovin-soothin” will perform. This is a free concert, open to the public. Bring lawn chairs or lawn blankets. While supplies last, there will be free ice cream, hand-held fans and water bottles provided by Wells Bank.
Platte City Friends of the Arts organizes and sponsors the annual summer concerts series. Financial sponsors this summer have been: the City of Platte City, Platte County Parks and Recreation Outreach, Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies/Missouri Arts Council, Wells Bank, Platte City Lions Club, Central Platte Fire Protection District, Pine’s Hairstyling and Tanning (Ron Pine), Keller Williams Realty-The Edlin Team (Platte City), and Wilson Floor Coverings (June scholarship singing contest).
