Beginning Friday, Nov. 19, the Platte County Citizen’s Platte City office will move from its current location at the corner of Highway 92 and Third Street to a spot closer to Platte County High School.
The new office, located at 1223 Branch Street, Suite 4, will open at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22 and regular business hours will resume. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The mailing address remains the same — PO Box 888, Platte City, MO 64079.
Entries in the Citizen’s annual coloring contest will be accepted Friday at the old office and Monday at the new office.
The deadline for entry is 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22. The coloring contest entry form is included on Page 5 of this week’s issue.
Winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 at Platte City’s annual lighting ceremony, held on the steps of the Platte County Courthouse.
The office will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving.
