Park Hill took second place and Park Hill South finished fifth at the abbreviated Northland Invitational on Friday, Jan. 18.
The two-day event was moved to one due to weather at the Gladstone Community Center in Gladstone, Mo., with 20 teams attending.
Liberty North took home the title with 371 points, while the Panthers had 292. The Trojans had 178, two points behind Springfield Kickapoo.
Iowa signee Georgia Clark won two events for Park Hill South. The senior took first in the 200 individual medley, finishing in 2:14.68. Teammate Emma Clark was third in the race.
Georgia Clark won the 100 backstroke as well, the only swimmer in the field of 56 to finish in less than 1 minute. Clark finished in 59.73 seconds to win, while Emma Clark was third in the event as well.
Park Hill South took second in the 200-medley relay, while the Trojans were sixth. The South 200 freestyle team of Sophie Jaeger, Amelia Lee, Lola Reuscher and Christine Hwang took second. Sydney Staebell, Hwang, Emma Clark and Georgia Clark was the runner-up in the 400 freestyle relay.
Brooklyn Pierce was third in the 50 freestyle and third in the 100 butterfly for Park Hill.
Park Hill South got third-place finishes from Taylor Young in the 1-meter diving event, scoring 368.25 points and Natalie Maris in the 100 breaststroke.

Platte County 425, Smithville 233
The Pirates picked up a win on senior night against Smithville, a Suburban Conference Blue Division foe, on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Platte County dominated by winning eight of the 12 events against the Warriors.
The Pirates swept the relays, while Shannon Banark won a pair of individual races giving her four firsts. Banark had the first leg and was followed by Maddie Klippenstein, Meredith Ballou and Macy Moriarty in the 200-yard medley relay (2:02.71). Banark was the final leg in the 200 freestyle relay (1:52.03) that also featured Klippenstein, Natalie Wolbert and Lindsey Swindler.
Banark won the 100 breaststroke (1:11.42) and 50 freestyle (25.53).
Wolbert, Sage Nichols, Swindler and Ballou comprised the winning 400 freestyle relay (4:21.80). Ballou won the 100 backstroke (1:15.46), Klippenstein won the 500 freestyle (6:03.15) and Nichols won the 200 individual medley (2:34.73).
Park Hill South 117, Park Hill 69
The Panthers dominated the Trojans on senior night on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Park Hill Aquatic Center in Kansas City. Park Hill South won 11 of 12 events, the lone win for the Trojans came from Arielle Janssens in the 500 freestyle, posting a state consideration time of 5:42.63.
Christine Hwang (50, 100 freestyle) and Sydney Staebell (200 IM, 100 freestyle) each won two events for the Panthers.
Georgia Clark won the 200 freestyle (2:30.77), while Emma Clark won the 100 backstroke (1:03.83). Natalie Maris won the 100 breaststroke (1:13.75) for another win by Park Hill South. Taylor Young won the 1-meter diving with a score of 252.55 for the Panthers.
The Panthers won the three relays. The 200 medley team was Georgia Clark, Emma Clark, Staebell and Maris, posting an automatic state time of 1:57.67. The other two relay teams had state consideration times. Lola Reuscher, Amelia Lee, Laurel Burns and Hwang was on the 200 freestyle (1:46.13), while Reuscher, Georgia Clark, Emma Clark and Hwang comprised the 400 freestyle (3:57.91) team.
