No arrests in Ferrelview shooting

A shooting that injured three people in Ferrelview is still under investigation, with no arrests made as of press time.

The Platte City Sheriff’s Office received a report just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23 that three people had been shot in the 500 block of Heady Avenue, near the Unicorn Apartment Complex.

According to police reports, a 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man were shot and transported to area hospitals.

According to the preliminary investigation, the shooting was the result of a domestic disturbance. A juvenile male was named a person of interest in the investigation.
