Hollee Webb and Frankie Davis led the defense with three digs apiece.
North Platte, winners in two of the past three, improved to 3-14-1 overall and 1-1 in KCI play. The Panthers are scheduled to play at Lawson on Thursday, Sept. 22.

The Bluejays improved to 2-0 in KCI play with a 25-13, 25-13 sweep at home Thursday, Sept. 15. They were scheduled to play in nonconference action Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Lone Jack, but the result was not available at The Citizen’s deadline.

“This was a big conference win for us, and I’m extremely proud of the girls for their effort,” West Platte coach Amber Guthrie said. “We started out a little slow in set two and ended up falling behind early on, but the girls really rallied together and were able to finish out the match strong.”
