The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic modifications for bridge rehabilitation work on Missouri Highway 92 at the bridge over Interstate 29 in Platte City. Motorists should follow signed detour. All work is weather permitting.
Eastbound and westbound Highway 92 closed at the bridge over I-29 on Monday, June 10 and is scheduled to reopen Friday, Aug. 16 at 4 p.m.
Various nighttime lane closures on southbound I-29 at Hwy. 92 starting daily between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday, June 10 until Friday, Aug. 16.
Southbound I-29 under the bridge at Hwy. 92 and eastbound Hwy. 92 to southbound I-29 ramp will be closed starting daily Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. until Monday, June 17 at 6 a.m.
Southbound I-29 under the bridge at Hwy. 92 and eastbound Hwy. 92 to southbound I-29 ramp will be closed starting daily Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m. until Monday, June 24 at 6 a.m.
There will be signed detours guiding traffic.
Those wanting to travel eastbound on Hwy. 92 from southbound I-29 will use Exit 13 (Route D) then travel northbound to the I-29 off-ramp to eastbound Hwy. 92.
Those wanting to travel westbound on Hwy. 92 from northbound I-29 will be detoured to Highway HH interchange, then west on Hwy. HH over bridge to southbound I-29 on-ramp, then south on I-29 to westbound Hwy. 92.
Those wanting to travel on Hwy. 92 over I-29 will be detoured to the Tracy exit.
The Platte City Special Road District work on Highway N
The Platte City Special Road District will be conducting operations on Highway N between the Copper Ridge subdivision (NW 133rd Street) and the Seven Bridges subdivision (NW 129th Street) will continue until Monday, Aug. 19. All work is weather permitting.
