Carole Jean Davidson was born on Feb. 18, 1939. People who knew her described her as “the strongest woman I ever knew.” She never turned away a person in need and always did everything within her power to enable people to improve their lives.
She was 80 years old, lived life on her terms and refused to let anyone perceive her as being “old.”
Due to injuries sustained in an auto accident, she passed away on Sept. 24, 2019.
The family has scheduled a celebration of life gathering from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at 22745 County Road M, Weston MO, 64098. We will be having a pot luck weenie roast (please also bring your own chairs), with card games, karaoke, volley ball games, etc… things our mom enjoyed while she was with us. All friends are invited to join us and share their experiences with Carole Davidson, how she made you laugh and if she made you cry, especially if she made you laugh until you cried.
If she touched your life in a special way, please come, join the family and share those moments with us.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St. Therese St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, 7207 MO-9, Kansas City, MO 64151; phone: (816) 741-8661. The family will be accepting donations for the food pantry at the celebration. All proceeds, food and/or money, will be delivered to the pantry.
