North Platte dropped a match on the road against the Mid-Buchanan Dragons, 2-1, on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Mid-Buchanan won the first set in a close one, winning 25-20. In the second set, North Platte stormed back and took a 25-19 victory. But in the final set, the Dragons used their home court advantage to take a 25-16 win over the Panthers.
McKenzie Brockhoff had a 18 kills in the game to go along with a team-high 14 digs. In addition, Trinity Whitford led the team in assists with 16, and Emily Westwood had a team-high six blocks.
West Platte 2, Hamilton 0
The Bluejays earned a road win over the Hamilton Hornets on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
West Platte performed well in both sets, winning the first set by a score of 25-19 and the second set 25-13.
Tori Norman served a pair of aces, and she and Lexie Smither had five kills each. Norman, Libby Vandel and Katy Tharp each recorded one block in the win. In addition, Faith Stevens recorded a team-high 17 assists.
North Platte 2, Plattsburg 0
The Panthers defeated the visiting Plattsburg Tigers in two competitive sets on Thursday, Oct. 17.
North Platte won the first set by just six points, winning 25-19. In the second set, the Tigers fought even harder but still came up short, losing 25-21.
McKenzie Brockhoff had another impressive performance, racking up a team-high 13 kills. Both Brockhoff and Frankie Davis each recorded 15 digs, while Davis and Trinity Whitford had nine assists each. Brianna Bridger led the team in blocks with four.
West Platte 2, Lawson 0
West Platte picked up a dominant win over the Lawson Cardinals at home on Thursday, Oct. 17.
The Bluejays, who have won their last eight games, won the first set 25-13, along with the second set 25-12.
Faith Stevens had 17 assists and Lexie Smither had seven kills. Sam Rotterman finished with three aces.

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the two rival schools closed out regular season with a game against one another with West Platte hosting the game. Results were not available by press time.
The two will play in the upcoming Class 1 District 15 Tournament, which runs from Monday, Oct. 28 to Wednesday, Oct. 30.
North Platte is the No. 4 seeds and will play Northland Christian at 5 p.m. on Oct. 28, with West Platte playing Union Star at 6:15 p.m. in the next game.
The winner of Northland Christian/North Platte will play top-seeded Bishop LeBlond at 5 p.m. in the semifinals on Oct. 30. The winner of the West Platte/Union Star game will play the winner of St. Joseph Christian/Orrick in the other semifinal game, slated for 6:15 p.m.
The championship game is set for 7:45 p.m., following the second semifinal game.
