Lady Trojans take fourth place at the Tom Stout Invite

The Park Hill, Park Hill South and Platte County girls’ golf teams all finished in the top-8 out of 15 teams in the Tom Stout Invite at Paradise Pointe Golf Course on September 19.

Park Hill South sophomore Makenna Casey was the top golfer from the area as she was in a 3-way tie for seventh place with 83 strokes at the Tom Stout Invite at Paradise Pointe Golf Course.

The Lady Trojans earned fourth place with 368 strokes – only trailing third placed Liberty by four strokes – as Blue Springs South won the invite with 322 strokes. The Lady Panthers had 281 strokes to finish in sixth place and the Lady Pirates’ 402 strokes was good for eighth place as a team.

Makenna Casey from Park Hill South was in a 3-way tie for seventh place with 83 strokes, which was one stroke better than Park Hill’s Reagan Bell. Lady Trojans Makenna Kincheloe tied in 11th place with 85 strokes, right ahead of Platte County senior Bailey Silcott’s 87 strokes in 13th place.

Park Hill South was able to pull out the top-4 finish at the competitive invite with the help of Regan Lea tied in 24th place, Molly Toohig in 36th place and Brynlee Justice in 42nd place. Addi Grimm ended with 112 strokes.

Park Hill’s Rhea Akula ended with two strokes less than 100 strokes to claim 32nd place. Kate Martorana had 101 strokes and Layni Grego shot a 103 for the Lady Trojans.

For Platte County, it had one other golfer who finished with less than 100 strokes: Ella Green with 97. Lily Ricketts and Mac Borland both shot a 109 to help the Lady Pirates earn eighth place.
