The North Platte football team came up short when it hosted East Buchanan on Oct. 22 as the Panthers lost 57-8.
The Bulldogs had a dominant first half as they scored 44 points. North Platte went into the locker room without a score, but eventually got a touchdown and 2-point conversion in the second half.
North Platte will head into the Class 1 District 8 Tournament to take on top-seeded University Academy Charter (6-3) on Oct. 29.
