Andrew Early impressed at the Raymore-Peculiar Invitational as the senior star ended in ninth place to help the Platte County boys’ cross-country team place ninth overall on Sept. 11.
Early was one of 12 runners to finish in less than 17:00 as the Pirate ended with a time of 16:53. Sophomore Andrew Johnson was the 32nd runner to cross the finish line as the sophomore ended with a 17:32 time.
The next two Platte County runners ran a sub-19 minute 5k as Jace Trimble ended with a time of 18:08. Kage Audas was ten spots back in 50th place with a time of 18:22.
Sophomore Kade Meinke ended with a time of 19:01, earning himself a finish in 62nd place. The Pirates will be hosting their next meet at Platte Ridge Park on Sept. 16.
