The West Platte Board of Education moved up its regular meeting schedule to swear in its returning board members and reorganize the board.
The board met Monday, April 9. Because there were no other candidates for board of education, the district is allowed by state statute to forego the costs of an election and swear in incumbents Kyle Stephenson and Tracie Kalic to another term on the board.
Ron Rowe was elected to another term as board president and Ryan Rotterman will again serve as vice president.
