A Platte City apartment complex had a new look and the city will be welcome to take a look at it Thursday, April 12.
Mayor Frank Offutt will be on hand for a ribbon cutting at Williamsburg Plaza Apartments at 5 p.m., part of the Platte City Area Chamber of Commerce Chamber After Hours and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Opened more than 15 years ago, renovations on the property — 2900 Williamsburg Terrace — started last summer. New flooring, fixtures, lighting and countertops were installed.
There will be a model available for tours during the after party.
The complex features 252 units, a mix of one and two bedrooms. The company is running a $1,000 special for signing a 12 month lease for a limited time and started a referral program that could lead to cash, Kansas City Royals tickets and a stay in a hotel in Kansas City.
