The Platte City Police Department is investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred Sunday, July 7 in the parking lot of the Platte County High School.
The incident occurred in a vehicle that was parked on school property, but school was not in session at the time. The incident involves a juvenile female victim and a juvenile male suspect.
The Platte City Police Department is working with the Platte County Juvenile Office and the Platte County R-3 School District on the investigation.
