Woman arrested for DWI after crash on I-29

A Kansas City woman is charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday, April 30.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Brandi K. Cochran, 41, at 11:17 p.m. in Platte County for DWI and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash. She was transported to the Platte County Detention Center in Platte City.

Cochran was driving northbound on Interstate 29, at mile marker 9.0, when her 2003 Acura struck a sign in the roadway. She sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene, where the accident occurred at 9:25 p.m.

The Kansas City (Mo.) Police Department and two other troopers assisted on the scene.

MSHP Arrests

Kaley E. Daniels, 43, of Kansas City, Mo., was arrested for fourth-degree assault and driving while intoxicated on May 1 in Platte County.
