Park Hill South’s season came to an end Saturday, Oct. 10 with a second loss of the season to Notre Dame de Sion. The Class 2 District 15 champions, Park Hill South swept Grain Valley 5-0 in sectional play during the morning but lost 5-0 to the Storm in the afternoon quarterfinal at Santa Fe Park in Independence, Mo. Notre Dame won the first matchup between the two in the regular season by a score of 5-4 in early September.

During the current streak, Park Hill South reached the quarterfinals for just the second time.
Park Hill South’s season continues with Stephanie Boulenger, a foreign exchange student from Belgium, competing in the Class 2 Missouri State Tennis Championships singles tournament, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16-17 at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo. She qualified as the District 15 champion and defeated Platte County’s Rachel Valentine in their sectional matchup.
