Clippard leads Panthers, Robinson leads Trojans at Lee's Summit

 Park Hill’s Caden Mills ended with a time of 18:36 at the Lee’s Summit Kris Solsberg Invitational on Sept. 18.

The Trojan and Panther boys’ cross-country teams competed at Lee’s Summit on Sept. 18 when Park Hill South finished in eighth place and Park Hill ended in eleventh place.

The Panthers ended the race with 223 points while the Trojans finished with 322 points. The top-finisher for both teams was Park Hill South senior Tyler Clippard.

Clippard ended in eleventh place overall with a time of 16:28. The next three Panthers to finish the 5k in less than 18 minutes were led by Tanner Clippard.

The sophomore ended in 47th place with a time of 17:28. Aidan Seymour finished in 17:34, earning a 47th place finish.

Samuel Chase finished 58th out of 133 total runners when the senior ended with a time of 17:46. Timothy Tasler and Trentyn Gilges finished with times of 18:07 and 18:14, respectively.

For Park Hill, junior Gunnar Robinson was the top finisher in 33rd place with a time of 17:12. Samuel Benson was the second Trojan to finish when the junior earned 55th place with a time of 17:37.

Ben Richenburg ran the 5k in 18:12 and Jakob Johnston crossed the finish line with a time of 18:24. Caden Mills and Lucas Urista ended with times of 18:36 and 19:09 for Park Hill.
