Man charged after high-speed chase, crash

A 32-year-old man was arrested and faces several charges after leading authorities on a high-speed chase over the weekend.

Christopher Fry accelerated away from a traffic stop, reaching speeds of 134 miles per hour on Saturday, Aug. 10. Platte County deputies gave chase but lost sight of the white 2017 Dodge Challenger on Interstate 29 at Northwest 72nd Street. Later, the Challenger was located after a crash and Fry was found injured at the scene. 

Fry has been charged with felony resisting arrest and misdemeanor operation of a motor vehicle in a careless manner.

The case remains under investigations and additional charges may be pending.
