The Mid-Buchanan Dragons burned the North Platte Panthers’ football team en route to a 62-6 win on Friday, Sept. 24.
Mid-Buchanan opened up the contest with the first 27 points before Liam Serves scored the Panthers only touchdown of the game. With 3:54 remaining in the first half, Seves broke loose for a 54 yard run and found the end zone.
North Platte failed on the 2-point conversion attempt and trailed 27-6. The Dragons responded with 35 unanswered points to give the Panthers their fifth straight loss of the fall.
North Platte will look for its first win of the season when the Panthers host Lawson on Friday, Oct. 1.
