Park Hill picked up a win against Platte County, but Lee’s Summit West beat both teams during a trio of games on Saturday, April 6 at Park Hill High School.
Lee’s Summit West beat Park Hill, 4-1, in the opener and then bested Platte County, 15-4, in game two.
The Trojans closed the tripleheader with a 12-1 win versus the Pirates.

In the opener, the Titans used a three-run fifth to build a 4-0 lead.
Park Hill had two runners on in the first and in the second, a frame where a run was thrown out at home.
The lone run for Park Hill came in the sixth. Trent Trammel and Max Pitts walked to set up Zayne Morrow’s RBI.
The Trojans had three hits against Sammy Cooper.
Lee’s Summit West 15, Platte County 4
In game two, Platte County fell behind 4-2 in the first inning and the Titans added two three-run frames and a five-run seventh.
The Pirates got two runs in the first and two in the seventh. Dalton Riechers opened with a triple and scored on Trent Rueckert’s double. He then scored on Glen Gammill’s groundout to make it 4-2.
Ethan Esdohr had a two-run triple in the seventh.
Riechers, Reuckert, Esdohr and Colby Sneed, the leadoff to cleanup hitters in order, all had two hits for Platte County.
Ben Kobel drove in five runs for the Titans, including a three-run homer in the fifth.
Five different pitchers threw for the Pirates.
Park Hill 12, Platte Co. 1
In the finale, the Trojans scored 10 runs in the fourth inning and picked up a run-shorted 12-1 win in five innings.
Platte County took a 1-0 lead when Colby Sneed opened the second inning off with a home run to left field.
Park Hill took the lead the next inning. Trent Trammel singled home Joe Daneff, who earlier singled, and a double steal had a runner thrown out but Drew Townsend scored safely for the go-ahead run.
The 10-run fourth inning saw all of the runs score after Platte County got two outs.Blake Morrow singled, the first of 10 straight to reach safely for the Trojans.
Townsend and Trammel had two-run doubles in the frame, while Tyler Koch doubled home a run and Carter Jensen, Max Pitts and Zayne Morrow had three straight triples. Ryan Kiser added and RBI single and Blake Morrow had a double in his second at-bat of the inning.
Park Hill had 12 hits and all nine starters had at least one base hit.
